Pungali-Rare show of Indian traditional values & progressive India

Pungali-as the name is catchy and shows traditional style of Punjabi & Bengali community. It’s short film of 11.45 Minutes. The story revolves around a boy & girls who want to marry although they belong to different Indian states.
Apart from Indian tradition jig-jag, he very nicely showcased the Indian Technological development.
Ambar-the Director of the film & Cinematographer Amitabha Singh even justified their capability.

DELHI METRO RAIL's ELEVATED TRACKS ADDING TO CITY's DRAINAGE PROBLEM
GLOBAL ROAD SAFETY BODY INTERNATIONAL ROAD FEDERATION (IRF) SUGGESTS SETTING UP OF UNIFIED NODAL AGENCY TO TACKLE DRAINAGE AND WATER LOGGING PROBLEM IN DELHI DURING RAINS.
New Delhi June 30, 2017 International Road Federation (IRF) global body working for better and safer roads world wide expressing concern at water logging on Delhi roads during rains, which becomes a major reason for traffic woes in Delhi each year has suggested setting up of a nodal agency consisting of representatives of all concerned civic bodies to tackle the annual problem.
"Each year during monsoons water accumulation on various roads throws life out of gear for few hourssoon after a heavy downpour, resulting in snarling traffic jams, leaving commuters fuming and fretting." said Mr K K Kapila , Chairman, International Road Federation (IRF) .![]()
New Delhi June 30, 2017 International Road Federation (IRF) global body working for better and safer roads world wide expressing concern at water logging on Delhi roads during rains, which becomes a major reason for traffic woes in Delhi each year has suggested setting up of a nodal agency consisting of representatives of all concerned civic bodies to tackle the annual problem.
"Each year during monsoons water accumulation on various roads throws life out of gear for few hourssoon after a heavy downpour, resulting in snarling traffic jams, leaving commuters fuming and fretting." said Mr K K Kapila , Chairman, International Road Federation (IRF) .
“Road network in Delhi encompasses different zones of Authority like Municipal Corporation of Delhi, Public Works Department, New Delhi Municipal Corporation and Delhi Development Authority, apart from the Delhi Jal Board, which is responsible for the drainage of storm water and sewage. Each year after the monsoons, a debate and confusion ensues as regards a particular agency’s responsibility for keeping roads free of water. However, the end result one witnesses is acute water logging, deep pot holes, portions of the roads getting sub-merged and side-walks becoming unusable, causing immense hardship to the general public.” Said Mr Kapila.
“Apart from the suggestion for creating a Unified Nodal agency consisting of DDA, PWD, DJB, all three MCD’s, NDMC ,DMRC and Power Discoms BSES & NDPL to tackle the drainage problems of Delhi, with representatives from each Agency for initiating appropriate long and short term measures, there is an urgent need to find immediate solutions to contain the damage due to flooding of our roads.” Said Mr Kapila.
“With continued urbanisation, the drains are either choked or ineffective to carry the surface water to the deep storm water drains and to the outfall point. The drain in stretches lack adequate capacity. For this, a long term solution with proper network of drainage lines with adequate capacity for storm water and sewage drains is an immediate necessity.” He added.
"However, till such time the long term measures are completed, immediate short term measures must be simultaneously undertaken at locations witnessing water logging. Water Harvesting is one such measure which will immediately remove excess water through harvesting pipes thereby relieving the road stretch from flooding. The agencies named above can identify these locations for water harvesting. This will eventually make all our roads usable during monsoon and thus alleviate the problems of the general public." MR Kapila Said .
“Delhi Metro Rail despite having Rain Water Harvesting system on various routes also needs a separate drainage system to channelise rainwater released from the Metro's elevated tracks to save roads from being damaged and also help in water harvesting” added Mr Kapila.
“Delhi Metro's elevated tracks are also partially adding to the city's drainage problems, as rainwater from the elevated structures flow with force on roads, creating more problems for choked city drains and causing hardships to pedestrians, cyclists and motorcyclists. Proper disposal of this water would reduce waterlogging on several stretches in the city,” said Mr. Kapila.

Khalish is a story showing frustration in youth. Director of the film Karan Kapoor showcased the young mindset beautifully.
The story revolves around the young male/female friends who always desire high expectation from their partners.
Vishal Garg playing the lead role who is a passionate Guitarist and have great fan of music world but her girl friend never feel comfortable with him as he is more fascinated with his guitar than his girl friend. Tulika Pachori, Paras Bahl, Vishwas Tiwari also acted decently.
Karan kapoor is the editor, Story screenplay & dialogues writer. Paras bahl -the cinematographer. The Voice over by Vishal Garg Used in a unique style in the film.

GST should be simplified for being really good and simple

(Guinness Record Holder for letters in Newspapers)Prime Minister at special mid-night Parliamentary session on 30.06.2017 for launch of GST termed full form of GST as Good and Simple Tax. But GST in its present form is full of complications and complexities. Goods and Service Tax-GST is launched to simplify the tax-system. But its rate-structure unfortunately is complex through imposition of cess over maximum GST-rate of 28-percent. Also GST-rates are not in multiples of some common factor. Best would have been to have GST-rates in multiples of six at 6, 12, 18, 30 and thereafter in multiples of 30 like 60, 90, 120 etc. A smaller GST-rate of 3-percent for some very specific commodities and services like on gold jewellery and transport-service could be logical. It is illogical to have five-percent GST on transporation-services where net profit-margin is much-much lower. Raising minimum GST-rate marginally from five-percent to six-percent could pave way for abolition or reduction of GST on some other commodities.
Instead of creating confusion and chaos, a much simpler GST system could have been to impose GST at basic manufacturing only replacing excise-duty leaving other trade-channels totally tax-free. Distribution of total GST collected between centre and states could be done by evolving some consensus formula by GST council according to population and other factors of the state. Such a simplified system would have resulted in tremendous tension-free growth of trade and industry paving way for economic growth and overall prosperity of nation and its people. There are numerous ways to practically check generation of unaccounted money and tax-evasion for creating a voluntary tax-regime rather than creating unnecessary tension, confusion and complexity by bringing all trade-channels in GST-chain.

FIFA U-17 World Cup India 2017 – updated match schedule and draw procedures
Group A, featuring the home team, which is automatically seeded as A1, will be based in New Delhi and teams of Group B will be based in Navi Mumbai. Matches for the knockout stage remain as planned before.
Acknowledging the increased efforts of the local authorities and the LOC in connection with the requested amendment, FIFA’s Head of Tournaments Jaime Yarza said: “Attendance, especially in the venue where the home team plays its matches, is one of the priorities of the FIFA U-17 World Cup India 2017, crucial to achieving the purpose of better positioning football in the country, so the government’s commitment in this regard is highly appreciated. The presence of the Secretary of Sports at the meetings concerning the state of the works in the stadium and training sites sends a positive message and reflects the strong involvement of the authorities. We expect this involvement to extend into the area of pollution prevention, which has been an important topic discussed in relation to the tournament, in particular in Delhi. We are now expecting an action response plan to prevent pollution levels from affecting the tournament, which ideally should continue beyond the tournament.”
In less than ten days – on Friday, 7 July 2017 at 19:00 local time – the draw for the FIFA U-17 World Cup India 2017 will take place at the Hotel Sahara Star, Mumbai.
Besides India, who are automatically qualified as hosts, the following teams have booked their tickets to the competition: Iran, Iraq, Japan, Korea DPR (AFC); New Caledonia, New Zealand (OFC); Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Paraguay (CONMEBOL); Costa Rica, Honduras, Mexico, USA (CONCACAF); England, France, Germany, Spain, Turkey (UEFA); Mali, Niger, Ghana, and Guinea (CAF).

प्रसिद्ध उदयोगपति विक्की जैन का जन्मदिन तक्सीम क्लब में मनाया गया, जिसमें फिल्म व फैशन जगत की कई हस्तियों ने उन्हें जन्मदिन की बधाई दी। इस पार्टी का आयोजन गौरव ऐबट व नितिन मल्होत्रा द्वारा किया गया। गौरव ने बताया कि विक्की बहुत ही काबिल बिजनेसमैन है तथा वो हमेशा अपने काम में ही लगा रहता है इसलिए हमने सोचा कि क्यों न उसके लिए एक सरप्राइज पार्टी रखी जाए। उन्होंने पार्टी में बेहतरीन अरेजमैंट के लिए तक्सीम क्लब के आॅनर विशाल व साहिल का आभार भी जताया। इस दौरान न्यू आॅबजरवर पोस्ट समाचार पत्र के एमडी अंशुमन त्रिपाटी का जन्मदिन भी मनाया गया।

1st July,2017: The 8th edition of Jagran Film Festival inaugurated by veteran actor Rishi Kapoor along with Bollywood Actress Divya Dutta, Ambassador of Morocco-H.E.Mohhammad Makili & senior BJP leader and Union minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi. On this occasion, a postal stamp on this festival was unveiled & after that a Coffee Table book of Mayank Shekar was also released. Just after the formal inaugural speech “The Fakir of Venice” film was screened. Master Talks- An interactive session with Rishi Kapoor was very well conducted by Mayank Shekhar was appreciated by august audience.Morocco will be the focus country this year. This Film festival will remain open till 5th July. As part of this association, festival-goers in 16 Indian cities will get a chance to watch 10 Moroccan feature films. The Jagran Film Festival, India’s BIG Travelling Film Festival, is preparing to transcend boundaries to build awareness and create cultural affinity in its 8th year of organisation. The festival will have over 130 screenings that include a line-up of films from across the world. Some of the prominent sections of the festival are World Panorama, Indian Showcase, Jagran Shorts, Jagran Discovery, Country Focus and the Retrospective of films.
